As you know, Blizzard is currently working on a remaster of Diablo II. Do you remember the last time you played it and what equipment you had? No? Soon, however, you will be able to check out exactly this, as Diablo II: Resurrected lets you continue on your old save file, albeit with better graphics.

It is Matthew Cederquist, game producer on Diablo II: Resurrected, who in an interview with IGN Middle East says this about old save files:

“Back when we were working on [the remaster], we wondered if the old save files would work, so we kind of shoved it in, and it worked! So yes, your local single-player save files will carry over. [When it worked], we were like, “okay, that’s the best feature ever.”

Diablo II: Resurrected will be released later this year for PC, Playstation 4/5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series S / X
