The developer CD Projekt Red is not doing well at the moment. Not only was their exciting action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 launched this week to the sound of crashed save files and game-destroying bugs, now it’s also impossible to buy the game digitally if you’re on a Playstation console. Sony has chosen to take down the long-awaited action game from its platform after the massive criticism, and it is also announced that everyone who has bought the game via the PS Store will be refunded in full. This is their statement:

“SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store. SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice. Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund. Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution.”

Just pray to the gods that CDPR fixes this fast enough, so everyone can enjoy the game as intended.
