Ars Technica sources claim that the Valve project (which has gone by the code names Neptune and SteamPal) is in fact a laptop that works a bit like the Nintendo Switch, complete with hand controls on the side of the screen (though not removable) and a touch screen. Since the product is obviously still in the prototype phase, there is uncertainty about how big the screen will be and the like, but we may not have to wait too long to find out more about this.

If the report is correct, Valve plans to launch this PDA before 2022, so if the pandemic does not sabotage the plans, it should be announced fairly soon.
