PS5 gets its first software update, just in time for the European launch
With new hardware, it’s always good when things are updated and improved. Now Playstation 5 has received its first update just in time for the European launch (today!) and it seems that Sony will be as vague and diffuse with update info as before. The update is just over 800MB and Sony writes in short that the update does this:
This system software update improves system performance.
Hopefully Sony will deliver some more nutritious patchnotes in the future.
Incidentally, the PS5 release was not completely painless and some users report some early issues. Some users have reported troubles with rest mode as well as external storage, so it would of course be nice if Sony could tell us if these issues were resolved with the update.
