Paramount Pictures is set to embark on a new adventure with the mutated teenage turtles, and the buzzword is “child-prohibited.” This revelation comes from a report by The Hollywood Reporter, hinting at a new live-action film in the works at the studio.

Following the success of the animated feature “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,” it seems the studio executives are eager for more. They have reportedly tapped Tyler Burton Smith to pen the screenplay, the same individual involved in the upcoming hyper-violent film “Boy Kills World,” starring Swedish sensation Bill Skarsgård.

Titled “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin,” the film is set in a futuristic New York City. With only one turtle left standing after Shredder decimates the other three, the lone survivor is driven by vengeance to confront and settle the score with the shredder himself.
