In a recent development, the PlayStation Store has undergone a significant update, introducing a game rating system that allows users to share their opinions on the games they’ve played. The system employs a five-star rating scale, enabling gamers to assign a numerical score to all titles in their library.

Upon entering the PlayStation Store, users can now readily observe the current rating of each game. Navigating further, they can access a breakdown of the percentage of players who have awarded five stars, four stars, and so on. Notably, the ability to rate games is limited to titles owned by the user.

This implementation is likely aimed at preventing mass review bombings and ensuring that the ratings accurately reflect individual experiences. Hopes are high that additional features will be added to this rating system over time, such as the ability to view the number of hours people have actually played a game and the option to provide written justifications for their ratings.
