We’re approaching autumn rapidly, and with it comes the anticipation of numerous upcoming blockbuster games, as is well known. October, for instance, is unusually packed with treats, and for those who enjoy psychological horror, a dear reunion awaits as Alan Wake 2 is finally set to be released. During tonight’s Gamescom Open Night Live, Sam Lake was, by the way, present to showcase his eagerly awaited sequel, and in the trailer below, you can get a taste (via Live Action and gameplay) of just how dark and unsettling the atmosphere will truly be when the title is released.

Alan Wake 2 is planned to launch on Playstation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC on October 27th, and judging from the video clip, it appears to be quite a captivating, albeit eerie, adventure.
