There have been many rumors and speculations about whether a new and more powerful Switch model is on the way, and rumors also say that Nintendo has reportedly asked its developers to give their games 4K support. But judging by a new report from Bloomberg, it does not seem that the rumors are completely true.

Nintendo’s chairman Shuntaro Furakawa says that the company still “has no plans to announce a new Switch model in the near future”. Of course, that doesn’t mean that it won’t eventually come anyway, but you might wanna be prepared that nothing will be announced in a long time.
