PlayStation 5 is, as we know, only available in a white color, and many players have therefore requested the possibility to obtain panels of other colors. One website tried to offer its own third-party plates to the machine around the launch of the console, but Sony was quick to threaten with a lawsuit, which made the company back away.

Now another manufacturer has chosen to start selling black PS5 panels in 2021. It’s no other than the somewhat controversial company Dbrand, and when asked if they were afraid of being sued by Sony, they simply replied, via Reddit: “We encourage them to try.”

Dbrand is, by the way, the same company that released its collection “Not animal crossing” to the Nintenbdo Switch earlier in 2020.
