As pointed out by Retrododo, many Nintendo fans around the world are patiently waiting for a new Zelda game to be released, but there is much speculation as to what that game might actually be.

Although Breath of the Wild 2 is of course the hottest game on the Nintendo Switch radar right now, it actually seems as if another highly anticipated game may be on its way.

The Legend of Zelda celebrates its 35th Anniversary in 2021 and lots of rumors have already abounded on the internet about various new releases of older Zelda games. As with many game remake rumours, this one started with a trademark entry. However, the difference this time is that this Zelda Ocarina of Time Switch trademark appears to be a new registration rather than a renewal – which could be a remake rather than a regular release… or not. Later this year we’ll know.
