It’s been a long time since the Metroid Prime trailer we saw back in 2017, but now it seems like the release date for Metroid Prime 4 has finally been leaked by global e-commerce giants, Amazon.

As can be seen in the tweet below from JP’S SWITCHMANIA, it may be January 2, 2023. This means that the fourth game in the series will be releasing 21 years after the first title came out on the GameCube and a whole 16 years after the last instalment in the Metroid Prime series. Nintendo and Amazon have yet to comment on the date leak.

This could of course be because it’s nonesense, but we’ll see.
