Last year, Apple’s chief designer Jony Ive left the company to start his own consulting firm LoveFrom. It’s now clear that one of Ive’s first assignments will be for the room rental service Airbnb, something that Airbnb’s CEO Brian Chesky writes about in a blog post.

Chesky writes that Ive been hired to develop Airbnb next-generation products and services. Exactly what it can mean is quite unclear, but in the blog post, Chesky writes, among other things:

“We have made the decision to work together through a multi-year relationship to design the next generation of Airbnb products and services. Jony will also help us continue to develop our internal design team, which he believes to be one of the world’s best. I know he is particularly excited about a relationship that will evolve to become a deep collaboration with our creative team. “
