Cyberpunk 2077 developers receive death threats after the game is delayed 21 days
Yesterday it became known that Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed again. One reaction to this could be to utter Shigeru Miyamoto’s wisdom “A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad” and go on with your life, or you can take the idiot way and threaten the game’s developers. In short, the latter should never happen and people who expose other individuals to such things should at least do a little self-examination, but it still happens. Andrzej Zawadzki, Senior Game Designer at CD Projekt RED, threw up a Twitter post after it became known that Cyberpunk had been postponed and told that it is wrong to send death threats to developers.
Incidentally, it seems that the CD Projekt RED developers found out that the release has been postponed at the same time as the rest of the world. An email was sent to the studio’s employees confirming the delay at the same time as the Twitter post about the delay was posted, which must feel like that. According to the email, it was due to share rules.
