The announcement of Cities: Skylines 2 has been made, signaling the imminent opportunity to play architect over your own urban metropolis once again. This new city-building simulator, powered by Unreal Engine 5, promises endless customization options, a variety of transportation modes, and large-scale construction possibilities, as per the details provided by Paradox. Much like its predecessor, the game will allow players to witness the gradual growth of a small town into a bustling city. While developer Colossal Order has not yet disclosed the differences between the two iterations, the title is scheduled for release in 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Game Pass, and Steam.
