It probably comes as no surprise that Battlefield 2042 will have an open beta just like previous games. On September 6, everyone can test the beta. EA Play subscribers who pre-book will be allowed to play a little earlier than others, they can already play the 4th and pre-charge the 3rd. This is a concept that has been common for several years for EA. Subscribers can also start playing the full game as early as October 15, which is 7 days earlier than the rest of the world.

Battlefield 2042 will be officially released on October 22 and can be experienced on PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S.
