Several insiders have claimed that Battlefield 2042 would suffer a delay, and late yesterday this was officially confirmed. After a long period of strange silence from Dice given that it was supposed to get a beta before the launch on October 22 – the title has now been postponed by one month.

The new release date is November 19 and on the official Twitter account, the developers explain that they simply need more time as the pandemic has slowed development. To be able to deliver a game without quality problems, this is simply a necessity.
