Apple has announced significant updates to its product lineup, introducing the new MacBook Air powered by the M4 chip and the latest iPad Air featuring the M3 chip.

MacBook Air with M4 Chip

The refreshed MacBook Air models, available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, now incorporate Apple’s advanced M4 chip, delivering enhanced performance and efficiency. Both models come equipped with a 10-core CPU and an 8-core GPU, supporting up to 32GB of memory, effectively doubling the speed compared to the previous M1 models. A notable addition is the 12-megapixel “Center Stage” camera, which tracks the user during video calls to maintain a centered frame. Design-wise, a new “sky blue” color option has been introduced, complementing the existing starlight and silver finishes. The updated MacBook Air can now support two external 6K displays alongside its built-in screen and offers up to 18 hours of battery life. Pricing starts at $999 for the 13-inch model and $1,199 for the 15-inch version. Pre-orders are available now, with official availability beginning March 12.

iPad Air with M3 Chip

Apple has also introduced the latest iPad Air, now powered by the M3 chip, succeeding the previous M2 version. This upgrade provides noticeable performance improvements, particularly for demanding tasks and gaming. The new iPad Air is compatible with an updated Magic Keyboard, featuring function keys above the number row, enhancing its utility as a laptop alternative. The 11-inch model starts at $599, while the 13-inch version is priced at $799. Pre-orders are currently open, with shipments commencing on March 12.
