Facebook warns against sharing old articles
Facebook starts rolling out a new feature that gives people a little notice / warning when they share articles that are more than 90 days old. With this feature, Facebook hopes that people will get a little more context around the article before sharing it so not old, and sometimes outdated, news is shared as if they were new.
Whether it will help keep people’s timelines a little more current remains to be seen.
