We’ve been given some examples of robots serving food in restaurants the past few years and now one has started working at a restaurant in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul.

The 1.5 meter high robot can roll out food to hungry restaurant guests and also receive orders through its built-in touch screen. In addition to that, it can pronounce certain phrases, such as “Happy Birthday”, in the languages dari and pashto, Afghanistan’s two main languages.
