Steam has broken its own record in the number of players who are online at one and the same time. This time, 25 million players played simultaneously on January 2nd.

It’s usually around Christmas and New Year that these records are broken (because of various sales etc.) and now the exact rating ended up at 25,416,720 players online at the same time.
