Panasonic has officially rolled out version 1.6 of its LUMIX Lab smartphone app, bringing a handful of fresh features designed to streamline the post-shoot workflow for content creators. The update is now available on both iOS and Android and aims to make editing, organizing, and sharing content faster and more intuitive for LUMIX users.

One of the standout additions is the new Photo Frame feature, which lets users add stylish frames to their photos directly within the app. Creators can choose from preset templates or customize their own designs, even including EXIF data and the LUMIX logo—perfect for adding a polished, professional look to social media uploads.

Another welcome improvement is the introduction of Tilt Correction within the existing trimming tools. This enables quick and easy image alignment, giving users more precise control over the final composition without needing to jump into a full editing suite.

For video creators and color-grading enthusiasts, the Bulk LUT Transfer feature will be a game changer. This update allows users to send multiple custom or library-sourced LUTs to compatible LUMIX cameras in one go—greatly simplifying setup for REAL TIME LUT workflows.

Lastly, the new EXIF Display panel provides a comprehensive breakdown of each photo or video’s metadata. Users can view detailed shooting info like ISO, shutter speed, aperture, lens type, and even LUT and photo style data—all directly in the app.

This update strengthens Panasonic’s push to make the LUMIX Lab app an essential companion for modern hybrid shooters. By integrating more of the creative process into a mobile-friendly environment, the brand continues to empower creators to stay agile, connected, and expressive.
