Nintendo Switch 2 Rumored to Match Steam Deck’s Performance
Recent reports have ignited excitement in the gaming community as credible sources suggest that Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2 console may offer performance levels similar to Valve’s Steam Deck. According to discussions on the “Moore’s Law is Dead” podcast, the Switch 2 is expected to deliver comparable hardware power, though it might fall short in some areas, particularly in frame rate performance.
In terms of specifics, the Switch 2 could struggle to match the Steam Deck’s frame rates in more demanding titles. For instance, while the Steam Deck might achieve 90 FPS in certain games, the Switch 2 could manage only 60 FPS.
