EA Sports has just announced its hockey game for the upcoming season, and this time it’s big news. One of the most important news in NHL 22 is the transition from the old Ignite engine to the Frostbite engine, which is already used in their FIFA and Madden series.

This means a powerful graphical update that complements the game’s launch to the new consoles. However, some of these graphics enhancements will not be available if you play on Playstation 4 or Xbox One.

NHL 22 will be released for Playstation 4/5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S / X on October 15, 2021.
