Finnish indie studio Lohkare Games Oy has announced that its debut title, Last Drop, will launch in Early Access on Steam on 18 August 2026. Set in mid-1990s Finland, the open-world action adventure follows protagonist Seppo “Zeze” Sahtivaara as he navigates daily life, financial struggles, and personal conflicts across the city of Nykylä and surrounding rural areas.
Gameplay and features
According to the developer, Last Drop replaces firearms with a skill-based 1v1 combat system. Combat moves are not acquired through experience points, but by collecting and watching VHS action movies scattered around the environment.
- 1v1 combat inspired by fighting games where timing, movement, and stats matter
- Combat techniques unlocked by watching VHS action movies throughout the world
- Progression covering Health, Strength, Agility, Stamina, and Drunkenness level
- Activities including driving 1990s cars, riding bicycles, working odd jobs, visiting pubs, and heating lakeside saunas
- Towns operating on schedules with opening hours and dynamic weather transitions

Last Drop will enter Early Access on Steam on 18 August 2026 with the first part of its story, with further content updates planned to follow.
