MSI has announced the Nordic availability of its latest Stealth and Crosshair gaming laptop lineup, bringing Intel’s newest Core Ultra processors together with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. The refreshed models focus on delivering higher gaming performance, quieter cooling, and premium display technology while catering to both competitive gamers and users looking for portable high-end machines.

The Crosshair 16 HX has received a notable redesign, featuring a chassis that’s just 21.9mm thick—around 14% slimmer than the previous generation. Despite the reduced size, MSI claims the laptop can deliver up to 200W of combined CPU and GPU performance, offering a significant boost in gaming and multitasking capabilities.

Cooling remains a major focus, with MSI’s Cooler Boost system combining dual fans, five heat pipes, and four exhaust vents to maintain performance during extended gaming sessions. The laptop also includes a 16-inch QHD+ display with a 240Hz refresh rate and full DCI-P3 color coverage, while select configurations feature OLED panels depending on the market.

Hardware options include Intel Core i9-14900HX and Core i7-14650HX processors paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, RTX 5060, or RTX 5050 Laptop GPUs. AMD fans aren’t left out either, with the Crosshair A16 offering an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HX alternative.

Connectivity is equally generous, featuring multiple USB-A and USB-C ports, Thunderbolt 4 support, HDMI 2.1, 2.5Gb Ethernet, and Wi-Fi 6E.

For users prioritizing portability without sacrificing performance, MSI’s Stealth 16 AI+ aims to strike that balance. Built from aluminum, it measures as little as 16.6mm thick and weighs under 2kg, making it one of the more travel-friendly gaming laptops in MSI’s lineup.

Inside, the Stealth 16 AI+ can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. MSI says its upgraded Cooler Boost thermal design enables higher sustained GPU power despite the slimmer chassis, allowing the system to better handle modern games, AI-powered workloads, and creative applications.

The Stealth model also features a 16-inch QHD+ OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification, and full DCI-P3 color coverage. Additional highlights include Wi-Fi 7 support, up to 128GB of DDR5 memory, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, and a 90Wh battery.

The new MSI Crosshair 16 and Stealth 16 AI+ are now available in the Nordic region through Elgiganten Sweden, joining MSI’s expanding lineup of gaming laptops aimed at everyone from esports enthusiasts to content creators.
