Fitbit does not abandon activity trackers in favor of smartwatches, but instead they launch the new Charge 5 which has received a lot of the features from their Fitbit Sense smartwatch.

The news compared to its predecessor is many. The design is different and 10 percent thinner. The bracelet is completely controlled by a touch screen now, and the most striking thing is of course that it has been given a color screen. The LED screen should be 2 times brighter than its predecessor and thus easier to read in sunshine. The battery life should nevertheless remain at just over 7 days per charge. If you are prepared to sacrifice some battery time, the screen also has an always-on mode.

Fitbit Charge 5 goes on sale at the end of September and has a recommended price of 1799 SEK in Sweden.
