The gaming giant Embracer (THQ Nordic) continues to acquire developers at a fast pace and their latest acquisitions include no less than the former Square-owned gaming houses Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal and Square Enix Montreal, which are behind game series such as Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Legacy Kain and about 50 other game series. All of them are now Swedish, which fall under the same umbrella as the Embracer-owned series Darksiders, Timesplitters, Metro, Saints Row, Wreckfest, MXGP, Valheim, System Shock, Shadow Warrior, Evil Dead, Homefront, Insurgency, Little Nightmares and many many more.
