The US sales figures and Steam lists have already made it clear that Elden Ring is doing very well commercially, but it is actually going much better than anyone could have imagined.

Bandai Namco reveals that Elden Ring has already passed twelve million copies sold. By comparison, it took four years for Dark Souls III to reach ten million copies sold and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice one year to climb past five million. In other words, it’s no wonder that the publisher now says that they consider Elden Ring as a brand we will see more of in the future, even beyond the gaming world – so expect a sequel, a TV series and more in a few years.
