Last year, the Corona virus was still fairly new and we got to see one giant event after another being canceled. The organizers behind the E3 event, ESA, had no choice but to cancel and with only a few months’ notice, they did not have time to fix a digital equivalent either.

This year, however, ESA has strived for E3 to become a physical fair again, but now that idea had to be scrapped as well. The Los Angeles Board of Convention and Tourism Development has released a document stating that there will be no physical E3 this year either.

However, the digital events have gotten better and better, so we look forward to seeing what ESA has planned as a replacement.
