Bang & Olufsen released a third version of the Beoplay E8 earlier this year which offered lighter and nicer design. Now they introduce a sportier version of the true wireless earbuds that come with better water resistance. While the Beoplay E8 is IP54 rated, the sports version is IP57, which means they can survive being lowered to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes without being damaged. In addition, the casing has got a little more texture, which should make it easier to interact with the handsets and that Bang & Olufsen sends with wings so that the plugs are held in place when you exercise.

On top of that, the E8 Sport comes with a redesigned case, but just like the regular E8 it is possible to charge the case wirelessly. The battery life is 7 hours in the handsets and another 28 hours in the case. Fast charging is supported and you can get up to 1.5 hours of listening time on 20 minutes of charging.

The Beoplay E8 Sport will be released July 9 and comes in the colors oxygen blue and black. Recommended price is 350 euros.
