The spiritual sequel to the Left 4 Dead series turned out to be really good, which has contributed to its popularity. Back 4 Blood today has over 6 million players, and now, a month later, it’s time to find out more about the future of the game. The official Twitter account for the title has now shared a roadmap that mainly describes what will happen this month and in December – but which also gives us an indication of what we can expect in 2022.

In December we’ll get new content such as more types of cards. There will then also be an improved single player mode that offers players the opportunity to play the campaign and save their adventures. Next year, there are plans for new game modes, new Corruption cards, new difficulties, general improvements and even three expansions (the first one is called Tunnels of Terror).

The expansions will be part of an Annual Pass which also gives us new Cleaners, new enemies and so on. Basically, you can expect it to be even more fun to kill zombies together in the future.
