Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was released in 2018 and I thought Ubisoft had put the game to rest, especially considering that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been released since then. However, this does not seem to be the case as the game studio has decided to release an update to the game that makes it flow a little better on the new consoles from Sony and Microsoft.

More specifically, it’s Patch 1.60 that will be released today and allow players on the new consoles to reach 60 fps when playing in backward compatibility mode. This is not a regular upgrade of the game, but an update that allows the game to take advantage of the power the new consoles offer.

The update should be available now for both PS5 and Xbox Series X / S now.
