Last year, Amazon revealed that they had placed a bid for the studio behind the James Bond license, MGM, for the sum of $ 9 billion. But as with all other acquisitions of this size, it has had to undergo a government review.

Now, ten months later, however, the deal has been approved. Amazon is announcing this, and as a result, over 4,000 movies and over 17,000 TV episodes will soon be added to the Prime Video service. In addition, Amazon will now be James Bond’s future home, and this is their comment:
