Yoshi Makes Cinematic Debut in New Super Mario Galaxy Movie Trailer
Nintendo has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy Movie, offering fans their first full look at Yoshi in action. After his brief tease in the post-credits scene of the previous Mario film, the beloved green dinosaur is finally stepping into the spotlight.
The trailer highlights several new elements that will appear in the movie, including classic characters like Baby Mario and Baby Luigi, as well as returning favorites such as Birdo. Iconic power-ups like the Frog Suit also make an appearance, hinting at the wide range of nostalgic nods packed into this intergalactic adventure.
With animation work reportedly completed, the production has now moved into the final stages of post-production. The score is being handled by composer Brian Tyler, who is working with Skywalker Sound and a full orchestra to breathe cinematic life into the iconic themes of the Galaxy series.
Set to premiere in April 2026, Super Mario Galaxy Movie continues the story of Mario and friends as they venture beyond the Mushroom Kingdom and into the stars.
