In addition to Valve so far denying us Half-Life 3, there are actually other developers who have had the chance to work with the legendary game series. Arkane Studios is one of these and the spin-off Ravenholm is the project that they worked on for a while, but which was closed down.

It is the phenomenal Youtube channel Noclip that previously posted some clips from Ravenholm, which has now posted a full replay of the discontinued game. They have also thrown in comments about what it is we get to see in the meantime and it undeniably looks like it could have been something really good from this. It also seems that Arkane has come a long way with the development so it is very sad that it was unfortunately not completed.
