Rumored Nintendo Switch 2 Images Leak, Show Larger Screen and Updated Joy-Con Design
Recent leaks have surfaced online showing what are purported to be the first images of the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. These images, which appeared on various forums and social media platforms, seem to reveal a larger device with an 8-inch screen and a few design changes. Notably, the updated version appears to include USB-C ports at both the top and bottom, which would facilitate charging in different orientations, a feature long requested by users.
The leaked images also suggest redesigned Joy-Con controllers with larger buttons and a new magnetic connection system. However, some features, such as analog triggers, seem to be missing, which could indicate that Nintendo is focusing on continuity rather than a dramatic redesign.
Alongside the visual leaks, there are also rumors about the Switch 2’s internal specifications. These reports suggest the device will include 12 GB of RAM, a 256 GB SSD, and support for HDMI 2.1 output. Performance-wise, it is expected to sit between the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Series S when docked, with potential for further enhancement via DLSS technology.
While Nintendo has yet to confirm these details officially, the consistency of the leaks with previous rumors has fueled excitement among fans. The official reveal is expected soon, given that production seems to be in full swing.
