Pokémon Pokopia Leak Points To Huge DLC Plans With 100+ More Pokémon
Pokémon Pokopia may be getting much bigger in the future, if a new leak turns out to be accurate.
According to recent reports, Nintendo and Game Freak could already be planning several expansions for the cozy Switch 2 life-sim, with future DLC allegedly adding new areas, more building options and over 100 additional Pokémon. Some of the locations mentioned in the leak appear to be inspired by classic Kanto spots, including places connected to Lavender Town, Viridian City and Cinnabar Island.
The rumoured content would fit Pokopia’s sandbox-style setup, where players build, decorate and reshape the world while living alongside Pokémon. A larger roster and more themed regions could give the game a much longer lifespan, especially if Nintendo treats it as an evolving platform rather than a one-and-done spin-off.
For now, none of this has been officially confirmed, so it should be treated as speculation. Still, considering Pokopia’s strong reception and its relaxed Animal Crossing-meets-Pokémon appeal, long-term DLC support would not be too surprising.
