The new Surface Headphones 2 comes with a similar design as its predecessor, but comes in the color matte black. Just like its predecessor, you can adjust both volume and noise reduction by rotating the rotary knob on the covers and it is still possible to choose between 13 different degrees of noise reduction, which is quite nice.

The devices use the same 40mm elements as their predecessors and, according to Microsoft, will deliver an “omnisonic sound”. The handsets come with Bluetooth 5.0 and support Qualcomm’s aptX codec for better sound quality over Bluetooth. The battery life has been bumped up to 20 hours and the headphones can be fast charged, giving you 1 hour of listening on just 5 minutes of charging.

May 12, Surface Headphones 2 will start selling and the price will be SEK 2299 in Sweden.
