JBL has launched its first open-ear sports headphones, the Endurance Zone, aimed at athletes and fitness enthusiasts who want powerful sound without losing touch with their surroundings.

The Endurance Zone leverages JBL’s OpenSound technology, delivering immersive audio while keeping the user aware of ambient sounds—perfect for running, cycling, or training with a partner. A high-sensitivity driver ensures clear sound with minimal leakage, and the Adaptive Bass Boost automatically adjusts low-end frequencies based on volume levels for optimal performance.

Designed for durability, the headphones carry an IP68 rating, making them resistant to sweat, rain, and dust. Post-workout maintenance is simple, with the JBL PulseDry feature helping remove moisture using subtle vibrations activated via the JBL Headphones app.

Comfort is also front and center. The earbuds use flexible, liquid silicone ear hooks that mold to the ear’s shape for a secure fit during high-movement activities. They’re equipped with four microphones, including dual beamforming mics, to provide crystal-clear call quality even in noisy environments. Touch controls can be personalized through the companion app.

Battery life is impressive, offering up to 8 hours on a single charge with an additional 24 hours from the charging case. A quick 10-minute top-up delivers 3 extra hours of playback, making these earbuds a reliable companion for long training sessions.

The JBL Endurance Zone will be available in July, priced at around 1500 SEK, and will come in a range of vibrant color options including black/grey, black/lime, purple/grape, blue/white, and white/orange.
