In the ever-evolving realm of gaming, titles like Roblox, GTA V, EA Sports FC 24, and Call of Duty consistently dominate charts as the most played games. However, they all pale in comparison when it comes to total hours played on consoles, as Fortnite emerges victorious.

Just when one thought Fortnite couldn’t get any bigger, the release of the OG season, Lego Fortnite, Fortnite Festival, and Rocket Racing last fall propelled Epic’s gaming platform – for that’s what it has become – to achieve its highest player count ever. With an astounding eleven million simultaneous players and over 44 million players over a single weekend in November, Fortnite asserted its dominance.

According to reports, Fortnite on consoles surpassed the combined playtime of all the aforementioned titles, accumulating over 1.6 billion hours in November alone. As rumors circulate about a new OG season in 2024, and the well-received Lego Fortnite continues to garner success, it appears that the success story shows no signs of slowing down in the foreseeable future.
