This eye-popping figure raised eyebrows and sparked debates from the outset. Today, in light of the latest news, this acquisition must be particularly painful for Musk. According to a report from Fortune, the value of Twitter, referred to as “X” here, has plummeted by more than half since the acquisition. In other words, at least 20 billion USD has evaporated into thin air.
