Ubisoft has announced a second delay for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, moving the release date from February 14 to March 20, 2025. This decision aims to incorporate player feedback and enhance the game’s quality.

The game, set in feudal Japan, follows two protagonists: Naoe, a shinobi assassin, and Yasuke, a samurai. Players can choose between these characters, each offering unique skills and progression paths.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Ubisoft has not specified whether the game will be available on Steam or the Epic Games Store at launch.

This delay is part of Ubisoft’s broader strategy to improve gameplay quality and respond to player feedback. The company is also exploring strategic options, including potential sales, to enhance its financial position.

Fans can look forward to experiencing the rich, open-world environment of feudal Japan with the upcoming release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
